Effective Strategies to Win
In Rummy, strategy makes the difference — not just luck. Learning the strategies followed by experienced players at u9999 will help you stay ahead.
- Form a pure sequence first — you cannot win without a pure sequence, so make sure you secure one early on.
- Discard high-value cards — holding onto high cards for too long increases your points, so discard them quickly.
- Watch your opponent — pay attention to which cards your opponent picks up or discards to estimate what is in their hand.
- Use Joker cards wisely — use a Joker to complete an incomplete set or sequence, but do not use it in a pure sequence.
- Drop at the right time — if your hand looks very weak, it is wise to drop early, as losing at the end results in even more points against you.
